Head Golf Professional
John – a talented all-rounder when it comes to sports – didn’t pick up a golf club until he was 14 years old, and by 16, he was a scratch handicapper. Eventually turning Professional with a +3 handicap, John played on mini Tours before qualifying as a PGA Professional in 2015.
He is a Titleist Staff ambassador and has a desire to constantly learn and improve his knowledge. He is certified in several teaching methods, including Stack and Tilt, Putting Solutions, Wedge Works, Trackman, SAM PuttLab and Ping Custom fit. John also supports Staffordshire County as their designated Putting coach.
His coaching philosophy is to help the player improve. As simple as it sounds, this can be done in many different ways; improving a golfer isn’t always about fixing swing mechanics! He believes in gathering data and is a big fan of TrackMan 4 and SAM PuttLab technology.
Favourite golf course: “Royal Dornoch; it requires a journey up north, but you won’t regret it!”
